Bonded Builders is proud to support NAHB’s annual Executive Officer Conference, which was held Aug. 17-20 in Naples, Fla. The EOC welcomed leaders from hundreds of local associations to the conference, and more than 100 were new executive officers. Participants attended seminars to help them develop partnerships that support the building industry at the local level. They also enjoyed networking opportunities and awarded scholarships to 10 students.
This annual conference of Executive Officers from every part of the U.S. is designed to advance an EO’s skill in serving a local association. A local association’s EO has to know how to organize and promote the activities of their local, state and national associations.
Non-dues income was a major topic at this year’s conference. Dues alone are not sufficient to pay expenses.
The other key topics this year were governmental affairs and “Making it all work.”
Speakers focused on the economy and its expected effect on the home building industry.Share
